“Film for Inclusion – Film as Universal Language”

Only for Moldavian participants
The Training Course “Film for Inclusion – Film as Universal Language” will bring together 30 participants from predetermined partner organizations in ten different countries. Each group should consist of two young people ages 18 years (at the time of the training) and one experienced youth worker or adult advisor (at least 21 years old).
The following criteria of the participants: Living in rural or deprived urban areas; good English-language skills; experience with inclusion projects; motivation to realize own inclusion projects, take part in the training for its full duration and help with the presentation of the film during the follow-up phase;

The working language of the exchange is English.
The group leader will assist the participants with the preparations for the training course (including the travel arrangements). He/she takes an active role in the preparation and implementation of the training, accompanies the group during the travel to and from Werftpfuhl (near Berlin, Germany) and supervises the group in all project phases.

Accommodations and Costs
Accommodations will be at the Kurt Löwenstein Education Center in Werftpfuhl, near Berlin, Germany, in shared rooms for the young people and in triple rooms for the experienced youth workers and adult advisors.
A participation fee will be charged from the participants, that will include accommodations, board and all activities during the training. The fee is due upon arrival in Germany and needs to be paid by all participants, including the group leaders. Advance payments are not necessary.
Participants will receive a partial reimbursement of their travel costs (up to 70% of the actual costs) upon presentation of their original plane, train or bus tickets and receipts at arrival. The maximum amounts in Euros that can be reimbursed is 350 Euros for Moldova . Please note that participants have to cover at least 30% of the travel costs themselves.

VISA details
Visa costs can be reimbursed upon presentation of receipts or invoices up to a maximum of 60 Euros per person.
Upon request, PTPI will issue invitations. If you already have a Schengen VISA or ROmanian citizenship, please inform the organizers in advance.

How to Apply?
Each participant needs to complete an application form before June 9, 2013.
The application form for participants ages 18 should be completed and signed by participants, their parents and their English teacher. The application form for group leaders needs to be completed and signed by the youth worker or adult advisor who accompanies the group.
